Construction Management Software Built by Experience, for the Field

Since I began working in the construction field in the late 1980s, I’ve witnessed a profound evolution in how projects are managed, executed and completed. Safety standards, environmental regulations, permitting processes and financial tracking have all become significantly more stringent. Gone are the days when unskilled workers could simply turn valves, operate heavy equipment or enter confined spaces without proper training or permits. Taking shortcuts, neglecting daily logs or overlooking “inadvertent returns” are no longer acceptable practices.

Throughout my experience in the pipeline, solar and biogas sectors, I noticed a glaring gap in the available software solutions. Most systems on the market fail to meet the day-to-day operational needs of superintendents, safety officers, environmental specialists, training coordinators and project managers. The industrial and heavy civil sectors needed something better—something tailored to their unique challenges.

Furthermore, as an industry, we’ve been missing out on the invaluable insights that past projects could offer. Identifying risks, learning from mistakes, reducing management costs, ensuring compliance with federal, state and contractual requirements all demand a smarter, more integrated solution.

Another key issue is the cost of existing software solutions. Many pricing structures, whether charging by the seat or based on total revenue, make enterprise-wide deployments prohibitively expensive. I wanted to build something that could serve the entire organization—not just a select group—avoiding the creation of information silos and ensuring every department could benefit from it. The solution had to be something senior management could rely on to deliver results cost-effectively.

That’s why I created JobSight360. It’s a comprehensive enterprise application designed to meet the full spectrum of a construction company’s needs—from initial estimating and construction activities through project completion and beyond. It even supports post-project responsibilities like tracking worker compensation claims, managing warranties and preparing bids for future jobs. JobSight360 enables companies to streamline operations, enhance compliance and leverage the lessons learned from previous projects to build a more efficient future.
